Clarion Home Services Group is Hiring an Excavation Laborer Near Berlin, WI
Mr. Holland’s Home Services started from humble beginnings back in 1997 and has grown to become a staple in all southeastern and surrounding areas of WI. We are a team of home service experts who go the extra mile to ensure peak performance for your home’s heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems. Due to our club members and new customer needs we are looking to add more qualified team members. We are currently looking for an Excavation Laborer at our New Berlin, WI location.

Primary Job Functions:
- Help equipment operator, excavation manager, and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Load or unload construction materials, prepare necessary supplies, tools, and other equipment for transport to worksite.
- Operates small hand tools and provides other construction type labor in projects.
- Set up and take down ladders, barriers, and other temporary structures.
- Maintaining a clean job site - pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
- Setting up shoring , New service install, ditch work
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
- Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDL license with clean driving record preferred.
- Machine Operation-Excavator/backhoe/skid load experience preferred.
- OSHA safety and Trench Safety certifications highly preferred
- Must be able to understand and adhere to the safety requirements of this position.
- Self-motivated, personable and professional with a knack for diffusing messy situations and problem solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity with the strong desire to be better tomorrow than you are today.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to complete required physical labor for entire shift.
- Must maintain a healthy physique able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., hold a minimum of 30 lbs. overhead for an extended period, squat/sit in small space for extended period, and aid in other overall physical job requirements.
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold.
- Must be able to climb up and down a ladder numerous times throughout the day
- Comfortable and capable of working in attics, basements and crawl spaces.
